Milan — Italian rapper Fedez, whose real name is Federico Leonardo Lucia, has been formally reported by the Carabinieri to judicial authorities in Milan following an alleged brawl. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of April 22, involved an assault on personal trainer Cristiano Iovino near his Citylife apartment and at "The Club" nightclub. Iovino, despite sustaining injuries, initially declined to press charges, stating he was "attacked by strangers."
Camera Footage and Witness Accounts Contradict Denials
Investigators, for what it's worth, proceeded with the report for "brawl," a crime prosecutable ex officio. Security guards from the "Parco Vittoria" complex, who witnessed part of the beating, identified Fedez as being among 8-9 individuals, including a blonde woman, attacking Iovino. Surveillance footage from the complex reportedly shows Fedez being the first to approach Iovino from a black van, attempting to strike him before others joined the assault. The victim, though injured with a cut eyebrow and contusions, remained reticent when first responders arrived.

Prior Altercation at "The Club" Unveiled
Further inquiries revealed a prior altercation inside "The Club" nightclub's VIP area, where Fedez was a guest DJ. Reports indicate broken glasses and bouncers intervening to remove Iovino, then Fedez's entire group, which included associates like bodyguard Christian Rosiello and rapper Taxi Bi. Despite Fedez's recent public denial at the Turin Book Fair, where he claimed he "wasn't there" and that camera footage was unclear due to rain, the Carabinieri's report to prosecutor Michela Bordieri focuses on the certainty of his identification. This ongoing investigation highlights the complexities of celebrity involvement in public incidents.
